The Cale MP104 Compact Meter is highly advanced, yet simple to
operate for the customer, the operator and the supervision personnel.
Information regarding payment is shown on the multi-language display
and on an easy to read ticket.
Each transaction is stored in the MP104's
memory. All this facilitates effective supervision and control. Any
need for service is taken care of by the self-check system, and is reported
directly on the display and transmitted to a central PC.
To help you
carry out action as quickly as possible, a need for service can be sent
as an SMS message to a mobile unit.

Supervision and control
MP 104 presents payment information on its display and on printed
tickets. If the machine needs to be attended to, it alerts the supervising
personnel with indicator lamps and by presenting appropriate messages
on the display. Alarms can also be sent automatically via modem
to a central location and to a service car nearby.
MP 104 MEMO space-number machine
The smart machine without tickets. Enables the customer to park
without having to return to the car with a ticket. By following
simple instructions on the display, the customer registers the number
of the parking space via the keypad. Through its unique flexibility,
the MEMO can be used as a space-number machine and a ticket issuing
machine simultaneously. A ticket printer can easily be installed
if required. MEMO is prepared for use in a local area network, which
provides the opportunity to pay in one machine and check time or
add payment in another. For machines with credit card payment, the
customer can log in on one machine and log out on another.
Fast communication with MP 104
CALE MP 104 meets today's demands of fast communication between
a central computer, for example, a PC and the parking machines.
The system provides several solutions ranging from data transfer
by means of the built-in keypad to a PC-based information system
that enables continuous reporting of machine status and simple administration
of the machines. The basic MP 104 model has an RS 232 interface
and is fully prepared for communication using hand terminal, PC
card (PCMCIA) or modem.
Mains supply, battery or solar panel
MP 104 is powered through a 12 V battery with or without loading
from an external power source such as continuous mains supply, street
lights or a solar panel mounted on a pedestal or on top of the machine.
Basic safety
MP 104 machines are made of stainless steel. A mounting frame with
strong bolts gives a firm anchorage in the ground. The coin box
door of tempered armour steel is enclosed in a strong protective
frame and has an advanced, easily exchangeable locking system. Self-locking
coin box door and a closed collection system for coins and bank
notes fulfils our security concept.
Easy maintenance
The consistent modular design of the MP 104 means that it takes
only a few seconds to a couple of minutes to replace modules. The
careful design also minimizes the need for preventive maintenance.
All modules, except the printer, are mounted on the door. Even the
entire door with all its modules can be replaced within a couple
of minutes. A built-in diagnostics system presents the system status
on the display or a service ticket. The status of one or more machines
can also be checked from a local office via modem connection.
Program updates and changes to system parameters such as tariffs,
display messages, etc. can be made on site or from a local office
via modem.
